Active Logos Ministries

Technology for deeper faith and wider Kingdom impact.

Our flagship AI Bible study project is only the beginning. We build thoughtful tools that help people know Scripture, practice faith, serve their neighbors, and navigate the digital world with wisdom.

Technology serving timeless truth.

Who we are

Ancient truth. New tools. Real-world service.

Active Logos Ministries is a faith-driven nonprofit headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. We believe technology is at its best when it helps people encounter truth, build healthy spiritual rhythms, overcome barriers, and care for one another.

Our first major initiative is an AI-powered Bible study experience. Around it, we are exploring Scripture memorization, prayer journaling, accessibility tools, custom solutions for churches, and practical digital-safety education for our communities.

Every project begins with a real need and is shaped by biblical faithfulness, responsible design, and excellent engineering—because innovation is a form of stewardship when it is placed in service of people.

Our foundation

Built with conviction, curiosity, and care.

We are not pursuing technology for its own sake. We are building tools that strengthen discipleship, widen access, equip churches, and help communities respond wisely to a rapidly changing digital world.

01 / Scripture

Scripture-centered

Nondenominational and rooted in the inspired Word of God, with biblical faithfulness guiding every product decision.

02 / Scholarship

Open-handed scholarship

We collaborate with theologians and publishers to make trustworthy insight more accessible across languages and bandwidths.

03 / Stewardship

Ethical engineering

Security, privacy, and transparency guide our work from responsible data sourcing through deployment.

What we are building

Bible study that goes beyond the search box.

Our flagship project is an AI-powered study companion designed to help people ask better questions, understand context, examine trusted perspectives, and move from information toward faithful application.

  • 01 Scripture-first answers with visible context
  • 02 Language, history, and trusted theological perspectives
  • 03 Study that leads toward prayer, practice, and discipleship

This curated John 1:1–2 study illustrates the kind of layered, Scripture-first exploration we envision for the Active Logos study companion.

John 1:1–2 · Five study lenses

John begins before Bethlehem.

The opening words deliberately echo Genesis 1:1. Before John tells us what Jesus did in history, he tells us who Jesus already was before creation: the eternal Word, personally with God and fully sharing the identity of God.

  • 01
Creation echo. “In the beginning” places the reader beside Genesis, before anything made came to be.
  • 02
Relationship and distinction. The Word is “with God,” not a poetic name for an impersonal force.
  • 03
Divine identity. John does not merely say the Word resembles God; he says the Word was God.

Beyond the flagship

One mission. Many ways to serve.

The AI Bible study project leads the way, but the larger vision is a growing workshop for Kingdom-building technology—creating products, partnerships, and education wherever thoughtful technical work can remove barriers or strengthen people.

Spiritual formation

Tools for everyday faith

Scripture memorization experiences, prayer journals, and gentle digital rhythms that support consistent practice without turning discipleship into a streak counter.

Accessible technology

Fewer barriers by design

Exploring reading and browser tools for people with dyslexia and other accessibility needs, with inclusion treated as a starting point rather than a final checklist.

Church partnership

Technology that fits the ministry

Helping churches think through their needs and build practical solutions—from better workflows and resources to custom tools that support the way they actually serve.

Digital wisdom

Stronger communities online

Clear, approachable presentations that help people recognize phishing, understand deepfakes, protect their information, and engage an AI-shaped world with confidence.
